Terrible Experience

Workers were not very friendly or infomative. According to worker they did not have the cat i was looking at. I came to the animal shelter on Saturday 11/29/08, did not have shot record with me on the pet i had at home. The worker told me to come back on Sunday 11/30/08 with the shot record...which i did. I was then infomed i had been approved...and was told i must set up a counseling session. Since I work five and six days a week thirty minutes away from the pound i could not set up an appointment for one more week. In my opinion this is un-acceptable. We were trying to get a cat and give it a good home so it would not have to stay in such a place. I am fifty years old and know how to take care of a cat. I was iniformed the counseling session for auburn was because this is a college town. I have lived in much larger college towns and have never had this problem. Overall the experience was terrible.
