My Favorite!

The Amsterdam Cafe has been a heralded tradition of Auburn University for nearly 10 years. From it humble beginnings as a small pub and bar, to its final expansion to inlcude a larger back room/bar; this restaurant, despite its growth, has not lost its charm. Serving food that will satisfy any appetite, Amsterdam Cafe will have you begging for more and wanting to come back. Go sample the wonderful fish creations for the night flown fresh from the Hawaiian fish market and prepared by Chef David Bancroft. The subtle taste and textures combine to create one explosive combination on any customers palate. Next time you are in Auburn, AL make a point to go and visit the friendly little cafe on the corner. As quaint and charming as it may seem inside holds one impresive dining experience.

One of the Best!

Amsterdam Cafe is one of the best restaurants! It is the perfect mix for a college town. One can have a "real" meal for $15-$25 or a salad/sandwich for $7. Regardless of what one is ordering, the service is good and the food is delicious. Their specialty is turkey wraps and sweet potato chips, which is great! Very vibrant atmosphere, and the outside seating is fun in warmer months. Their Sunday Brunch is great as well. It is fairly small, so a wait is the norm.
