While I don't doubt that All Creatures is cheaper than the vet school (which is notoriously expensive), it is by far one of the most expensive clinics in the Auburn/Montgomery/Columbus area. My dog needed a procedure and Dr. Bond was quick to point out that her fees very comparable to other vets in the area. I decided to call around, and she was at least $300 more than any of the other 14 vet clinics I called (actually $500 more than a few places). Paying a little extra for great service is understandable, but she seemed very apathetic and almost rude at times. I took my dog somewhere else and was very pleased with the results.

I came home and my dog had vomitted everywhere. The smell was so bad that I thought he was dying, so I took him to my vet and he said to give him medicine and he would get better. That night, he got worse, so I took him to All Creatures vet clinic because they were my roommate's vet. Dr. Bond did an xray and found one of his toys. I thought that I could not afford the suregery, so I called around and found out that the price was half the price of the vet school estimate. Never found out what my vet would charge because he was closed and won't answer his phone. My dog did great through the whole thing and even got his toy back...nasty. Dr. Bond was to the point, proffessional, and all about getting my dog better. They even gave him a free bath because he was so nasty he smelled up the whole building. He stayed an extra night too make sure he won't wreck my house again. They called me several times after the whole thing was over to make sure my dog was doing good. All business, no pansy place, exactly what I want when I really need help and other vets won't even answer the phone! She is my vet now and I won't go to anywhere else. Oh yeah, I saw her at a resturant last night (about a month later) and she remembered my dogs name.

I chose this clinic because it was convenient and had a nice, flashy sign outside. The old saying "don't judge a book by its cover" is soooo TRUE! The inside of the clinic was filthy and smelled so bad that I wanted to vomit. There were spider webs in the treat bins, and I thought I was actually at a pet store when I walked in because there was so much pet "junk" for sale -- way more excessive than the normal collar, leash, and health products stand. I did not feel that the care my babies received was at all up to par with that I experience in the Atlanta area, even though the clinic advertises all of the bells and whistles. The doctor was kind of nice, but she seemed like she could care less if I was there or not. She seemed to get aggrivated at my questions and only had short retorts...didn't really answer my questions. I will not return, nor will I recommend this clinic to my friends. Some of my friends have also had bad experiences simply boarding their dogs there...I wouldn't trust it for my babies...

This was not my vet to begin with, but now I will always go to them. My dog was stung by bees and started swelling up in her face. She started staggering around and slobbering everywhere. I called my vet and he was closed. The recording said to call another place. This was an emergency and I was kind of put off that I couldn't even talk to him about it. Anyway, Dr. Bond at All Creatures was the only vet I could find that did after-hours emergency calls. She met me around 8 on friday night and treated my dog. She was very nice and my dog was back to normal within an hour. The clinic even called the next morning to ask how she was doing. I liked my other vet, but I want to know who i am going to see before an emergency happens. That's how my home-town vet works, too.
